Italian Beef Sandwiches Recipe


A Classic & Favorite Sandwich Using Orrington Farms To Make It Easy!

8 thick slices roast beef, about 14 oz

2 cups prepared Orrington Farms® Restaurant Style Au Jus

1 loaf Italian bread, split and cut into 4 pieces

1 jar (12 oz) roasted red bell peppers, drained

8 slices Swiss cheese


1To start this Italian beef sandwich recipe preheat broiler.

2In a large saucepan, combine roast beef and prepared au jus. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until heated through.

3Meanwhile, place bread, cut side up on an ungreased baking sheet. Place a slice of beef on each piece of bread. Top with a thin layer of red peppers and a slice of cheese.

4Broil 6 in. from the heat for 4-6 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.

5Place bread halves together to make sandwich. Serve with remaining au jus if desired.
