Beef Stew Recipe

Ingredients

1 pouch Orrington Farms® Organics Beef Stew Seasoning

2 cups water

2 lbs beef stew meat*, cubed

1 large onion, chopped

2 medium carrots, chopped

2 medium potatoes, chopped

2 celery stalks, chopped

1 can (14.5 oz) petite diced tomatoes, undrained

Directions

Slow Cooker

1MIX contents of pouch with water until completely combined.

2PLACE meat and vegetables in slow cooker; pour sauce over.

3COVER and COOK on low 8 hours (or high for 4 hours) until beef is tender. *Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.

Pressure Cooker

1Follow slow cooker recipe above, reducing water to 1 cup.

2Cook for 40 minutes, or as directed by pressure cooker manufacturer. *Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.

Bake

1Mix contents of pouch with water until completely combined.

2Place meat and vegetables in a large pot; pour sauce over.

3Cover and let simmer over medium heat until meat is tender and vegetables are cooked, approximately 2 hours, stirring occasionally. *Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.
