 1 lb ground beef
 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
 2 medium carrots, diced
 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
 Kosher salt
 Black pepper
 4 cups Orrington Farms® Broth Base - Beef Flavored With Other Natural Flavor, prepared according to package directions
 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, plus more for garnish
 1 cup heavy cream
 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled, for garnish, optional
 Pickle chips, for garnish, optional
 Croutons, for garnish, optional

Cook beef in a large pot over medium-high heat, breaking up into small crumbles with a wooden spoon, until beef is cooked through and begins to brown, about 5 minutes.

Add onion, carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper and cook until vegetables begin to soften, about 5 minutes.

Pour in broth and bring mixture to a simmer. Simmer until potatoes and carrots are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and stir in cheese and heavy cream until melted and combined.

Garnish with additional shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, pickle chips, and croutons. Serve.
