Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

1 pouch Orrington Farms® Organics Pot Roast Seasoning

1 cup water

2½ lbs beef roast*

1 medium onion, chopped

2 medium carrots, chopped

3 medium potatoes, chopped

Directions

Slow Cooker

1MIX contents of pouch with water until completely combined.

2PLACE meat and vegetables in slow cooker; pour sauce over.

3COVER and COOK on low 8 hours (or high for 4 hours) until beef is tender.

4Serve beef sliced with vegetables. *Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.

Pressure Cooker

1Follow slow cooker recipe above, reducing water to ½ cup.

2Cook for 1 hour, or as directed by pressure cooker manufacturer.

3Serve beef sliced with vegetables.

Bake

1Preheat oven to 325°F.

2Mix contents of pouch with 2 cups water until completely combined.

3Place roast in an ovenproof Dutch oven and pour sauce over.

4Cover and cook for 2 hours, add vegetables and cook for 1 more hour or until meat is tender.

5Serve beef sliced with vegetables. Please note that cooking times will vary with size of roast. *Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly.
